well, i have returned to school. other people are back too, so i am not sad and alone. yay!
hair status: somehow, in dying (dye-ing? ARRGH I CAN'T SPELL THAT WORD) my hair a lighter color, it ended up a shade darker. (?) and my haircut is in fact identical to the one i had last august. so really...i look the same.am amused by the irony of this whole situation. although my hair is nice and shiny. props to marge and ashley for not killing it.
figured out how to turn the heat down in my room, so now it is a nice temperature. huzzah! however, outside it is REALLY COLD. as in "help! i can't feel my facial features!" this happened when i left school too. interesting. managed to put all my stuff away. clothes actually all fit in my drawers, albeit barely. am v. proud, as i did not accumulate too much stuff over break. then i waged an epic war against the dust all over the floor. many a ginormous dust bunny boldly resisted the advances of my swiffer, but in vain. although it was a close call. swiffers are the worst ever (especially wet-mop swiffers) and the dust bunnies were valiant and numerous. especially under my desk.
reading new david eddings book. 'tis ok, but not much can beat the belgariad or the diamond throne. maybe the series will get better. also finished reading the name of the rose. it was good, although it ended rather abruptly. apparently, there is a movie. with sean connery. i shall have to investigate this.
and then i found eleven cents.
