shadydave, because my name is Dave, and I am shady. Though if you want to be technical about it, Dave is one of my chiefest hypercoristics (I have many names!) and 'shady' was the adjective of choice in high school, also appropriate because I spend most of my time on teh intarwebs lurking.
My journal name: "My God! It's full of stars!" -- quote from 2001: A Space Odyssey (the book, not the movie), and uttered by my namesake when he discovers the creepy monolith is actually a stargate.
My journal title: "I don't go looking for trouble..."
My subtitle: "...it comes looking for me." A (probably inaccurate) quote from one of the HP books.
My friends page: "A Parcel of Rogues", which is from a Robert Burns poem, but which I actually found from reading annotations for The Wee Free Men. Crivens!
