...It was the best day ever!

We totally had a Hurricane Day today! No classes! It was very exciting. I got to sleep in (well, until 10:20, which was only half an hour more than when I had planned to wake up, but still), but then the power went out. Fortunately, the Hal 9000 was fully charged, so Meera and myself ate cereal and watched SPooN while winds of up to 50 mph made the rain spray upward on the roof outside our window. The power came back on after the wind died down, but then we went out puddle-stomping with Katherine and Alice and assorted Wesley people. We got completely soaked, ate ginger cakes at the bakery, and had lots of fun. Then we came back and made tea. And then I updated my LJ, the end.

In other news, all my classes look to be awesome this semester, and I'm fully registered for all of them and everything! Score!
