1. Pick one dozen movies that are ones that you have special feelings about.
2. Pick a few lines of dialogue that mean something to you.
3. As people guess the film, strike out that entry.
4. If possible, after the film is guessed, explain why that movie made the list.
geez, guys . . . i don't know how to say this . . . i've got special feelings about some movies.
somehow, i feel this was meant to be meaningful exercise on how well your friends know you, and guess the deep, insightful . . . um. . . meanings behind the quotes. needless to say, i've subverted it into the grab-bag that's half my random conversational interjections and half a representation of my favorite movies, but ALL geek. i don't think that made sense. also, if anyone actually pays attention, i'm gonna have to learn to strike things out, in the non-softball sense.
1. "Chosen Men, eh? Well, I didn't choose you."
2. "Well, hello Mr. Fancy-pants."
3. "Sink me!"
4. "I'M GOING TO CARVE YOUR HEART OUT WITH A SPOON!"
5. "I suddenly have a refreshing mint flavor!"
6. "Yeah, I got your Mr. Mop."
7. ". . . Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?"
8. "Pressurized salt acid."
9. "Go to your left! No, your OTHER left!"
10. "So, did you see that sky today? Talk about blue."
11. "Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? Surely you overestimate their chances!"
12. "You don't have any friends! Nobody likes you!"

7. Monty Python
9. Matrix
10. Emperor's New Groove
12. LotR: TTT
The other 5 sound familiar, but I can't remember where they're from. I think it's b/c we say too many movie lines in everyday conversation, so much that we no longer think of them as movie lines.
