I have decided that it is actually a good sign: if I had to choose between good fight scenes or awesome acting, I'd prefer the awesome acting, now with more witty banter

Yeah, otherwise you end up with Wolverine ::shudder::

Tony's attempted strawberry gifting was hilarious :D

I knew there was a correlation between you and strawberries! Heeeee.

Pepper is made of win. That is all.

And did you catch the Captain America? And Thor! *does dance of fangirlish glee*

I did! (Even with my negative comics skills, heh.) It was hilarious/awesome, respectively.

My sister didn't know Kenneth Branagh was directing Thor and was uberly WTF when I told her. I was amused.

But it did give us "THIS. IS. VENICE!!!" So not a total loss.

Yeah, it's more of a repetition thing where it's becoming a problem. Someone needs to send them SPooN and a note that says "HOW NOT TO DO IT".

Clearly, Amy actually used her reflected awesome to smite the vampire fish alien.

Ah, it all makes sense now!

Ooh, I got this one! She'd actually *fixed* her perception filter, to make sure she looked human so she could commit suicide.

But didn't she leave it behind? That's why I was confused.

It seems that at least once every series, some species or another thinks Earth is the best place to repopulate the species. The Racnoss. The whatits from Pompeii. The Gelth. The vampire fish aliens. That dude from City of Death. If they just picked another planet, they'd have much better odds.

To be fair to the vampire fish people, they didn't really get to pick where they were going, they just fled through the Crack. However, this is kind of a trend. We need an episode where displaced aliens show up and are like "Can someone give us a ride? It seems to be a really bad idea to stick around here."
