The more I think about the thing with Donna, the more annoyed I get. Because the whole point of "Turn Left", as I understand it, was to show that she could be awesome and save the world without the Doctor, and apparently that's what she's doing what with the working for the non-profit and everything. So the whole thing with Wilf begging the Doctor to "fix" her basically makes no sense - she doesn't need fixing, she's DONNA. She's saving the world, she's got a boyfriend who's not in league with murderous spider people, she's AWESOME - what needs fixing? Yes, she can never see the Doctor again, and that's sad (for us but mainly for HIM - she doesn't know what she's missing!), but I would much rather see Donna triumphant than have Wilf moaning that she's not the same. And as it is, you have Wilf begging the Doctor to fix her, her head explodes, she disappears for most of the episode, and then she reappears in the companion parade at the end. Why have her be in the episode at all? Why not give her the triumphant send off (Look, I married a man who's not going to leave me for a murderous spider lady!) and be done with it?
But no, she can't possibly be happy without the Doctor, we have to beg him to fix her because she's not awesome enough on her own . . .
